Our Faculties & Courses
S.S.J.S. Namdhari College, Garhwa, offers standard undergraduate degrees under the Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS) aligned with Nilamber-Pitamber University (NPU) curriculum standards, as well as intermediate streams. The following courses are currently open:
1. Faculty of Science (B.Sc. Honors/General)
Subjects Offered: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, and Zoology.
2. Faculty of Social Sciences & Humanities (B.A. Honors/General)
Subjects Offered: Hindi, English, Sanskrit, History, Political Science, Economics, Geography, Sociology, and Philosophy.
3. Faculty of Commerce (B.Com. Honors/General)
Core streams: Financial Accounting, Business Statistics, Auditing, Corporate Law, and Business Management.
4. Self-Financed Vocational Programs
Specialized job-oriented courses: Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).

Contains more than 15,000 text and reference books covering all faculties. Features a large reading hall, competitive exam journals, and digital internet catalog services.
Dedicated lab for BCA/BBA streams featuring 40 high-speed computers connected with broadband local networks, providing computational skills.
Equipped with practical equipment for Physics experiments, Chemistry reagent testing, Botanical catalog charts, and Zoology specimens.
Vast outdoor fields for football, cricket, and running tracks, combined with NCC (National Cadet Corps) and NSS (National Service Scheme) community cells.
Training & Placement Cell
Our centralized placement cell works closely with Nilamber-Pitamber University to organize local placement drives. Companies such as Extra Marks, regional banks, and IT consulting offices participate in hiring graduates from Commerce, Vocational (BCA/BBA), and Science fields.
SSJSN also maintains a highly active Alumni Association, which hosts annual reunions and connects current students with seniors placed in corporate and government sectors across India.
